Opening of two new restaurants in Addison Walk; Spatch Kitchen and Sonny & Sons
Addison, the “Restaurant Capital of Texas,” is getting two more restaurants this month. Addison Walk, a shopping center located at 5000 Belt Line Road, welcomes you Spatch Cuisine & Cocktails and Son and son in side-by-side spaces on their strip.
Spatch Kitchen & Cocktails is a casual yet stylish seasonal American restaurant with a Southern twist. The 5,000 square foot restaurant features a spacious patio, full bar and lush design.
The dinner and lunch menus include popular Southern favorites like its eponymous Chicken, which is boneless chicken, mashed flat for faster cooking closer to the flames. They’ll also have speckled trout, blackened Texas rockfish, Gulf shrimp, and a dry-aged pork chop.
Weekend brunch will also be served, featuring a pan of Texas toast, crab omelet, puffed pancakes, salads and sandwiches. The full bar will also offer craft beers, wines by the bottle and by the glass, as well as freshly brewed cocktails like Sazerac, Pimm’s Cup and classic Martini service.
The second restaurant, Son and son, is (another) quick casual hot chicken joint and is right next to Spatch. The menu features fried chicken, half birds, bird quarters, fillets, and sandwiches, all available at different heat levels leading to the insanely hot Reaper. Classic sides include mac and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, and flax potatoes.
Not only is Sonny & Sons a heat-packed chicken heaven, but the kitchen will whip up donuts that spin every day for a fun breakfast or after-chicken dessert. Sonny & Sons is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with pickup and delivery options available through all major delivery companies.
Both concepts will be open by the end of the month and reservations for Spatch Kitchen & Cocktails can be made at on their website.
