On October 27, the Aurora Knights of Columbus Host a Benefit Spaghetti Dinner for Catholic Students

The Knights of Columbus Aurora 14929 will be hosting a spaghetti fundraising dinner on Wednesday, October 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Luigi’s Pizza, 732 Prairie Street in Aurora.

The public is invited. Parking is free. Guests can dine in or take out. Tickets cost $ 10.

The menu includes spaghetti with meatballs or chicken breast, green salad, bread and a cookie.

The profits will be used to fund tuition fees for students at the Pope Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy, a school with two campuses in southeast Aurora. The Catholic Diocese of Rockford, with a committee from the Aurora Task Force, opened the academy in the 2018-19 school year.

The school combined schools in four parishes of Aurora – Notre-Dame du Bon Conseil, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Pierre and Sainte-Thérèse de Jésus.

The north and south campuses are located respectively in the parishes of Saint-Joseph and Notre-Dame du Bon Conseil.

The academy’s financial and spiritual support comes from seven parishes in the Aurora region, including Notre-Dame du Bon Conseil, Saint-Joseph, Sainte-Thérèse de Jésus, Saint-Pierre, Sacré-Cœur, Saint-Nicolas and Sainte Marie.
