New Orleans Welcomes Second Chicken with Chicken Salad
After opening three months ago in Gonzales, Louisiana, Chicken Salad Chick is adding a second location to the New Orleans area, this time in Slidell, Louisiana.
Located at 1522 Gause Boulevard, just off I-10 at Exit 266 of Highway 190, the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening Tuesday by offering a free chicken salad for one year to its first 100 guests. Customers will maintain an appropriate distance and be given designated return times on arrival to distribute the number of restaurant guests throughout the day, according to a press release from the company.
Owned and operated by multi-unit franchise owners Ashley Keever, Krista Rhymes and Matthew Miller of 2 Chicks and a Magnet Inc., as well as Richard Nickelson to form Crescent City Chicks, Slidell Restaurant also features drive-thru and a patio. as a tasting station at the pick-up area for guests to enjoy the 12 varieties of chicken salad.
Prior to starting a franchise, Nickelson was a franchise consultant with Chicken Salad Chick for seven years. The 2 Chicks and a Magnet team, with over two decades of retail and food service management experience, operate Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in Monroe and Ruston.
