Local Restaurant Group, which operates the popular Hambrgr and Undefined restaurants, is expanding its presence in Hamilton.

Matty’s Hot Chicken was operated in St. Catharines and as a pop-up on King William Street in Hamilton. Now the Chicken Restaurant has found a brick and mortar house on Lock St. South.

Matty’s is proud to offer locally sourced chicken from Ontario farmers. You can order fried chicken in pieces, strips, on a bun, or between waffles choosing from five spice levels: southerly (no heat), soft, hot !, damn hot! and hot AF !.

And, just because, Matty’s also features his signature Kreamy Krisp Donuts (not a typo).

With Donut Monster and Bitten just steps away, the Kirkendall neighborhood could corner Hamilton’s candy market.

Matty’s is taking over the residential space transformed into commercial near the corner of Locke and Charlton Ave and is expected to open in January 2022.
