Entrata Restaurant in Hopewell, NJ Closes Permanently
Entrata in Hopewell announced the Facebook that the restaurant is definitely closing its doors.
the a message was short: “It was a fun ride, thank you for all the memories, we will all miss you. We made a lot of connections with a lot of nice people, unfortunately it’s over for us at Hopewell.
The pandemic is the reason for the shutdown. Owner / chef Marco Polizzi stated in the Facebook comments, “Covid and all the burdens of running a restaurant with so many restrictions, it was impossible to continue. I should have closed last year, but I was too stubborn to give up.”
Heartbreaking that so many big companies have been forced to close in the past year and a half, just heartbreaking. Who would have ever thought that we would experience something like this.
So many loyal customers expressed their sadness, one said: “Marco, your creative food preparations and presentations were exceptional. You have always shown your appreciation for every customer, taking the time to make sure they have the best dining experience. I wish you all the best in whatever your future holds. “
Restaurants that survived the pandemic face another problem as customers come back… there is a staff shortage. Every restaurant I see has a help search panel, or a Facebook post, trying to get help. Please be patient as these establishments attempt to bounce back from this very difficult time.
Good luck, Marco. We hope that one day you can get back on your feet … you have a good reputation.
