This recipe is made with boneless pieces of chicken dipped in chickpea flour or chickpea flour with different spices, then fried to perfection. To start the recipe for this crispy, desi-style fried chicken, all you need to do is make a thick batter. For this, take a bowl and add chickpea flour, add red chilli powder, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, yogurt and water. Mix everything well. Put aside.

Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, take chicken slices and marinate them with red chili powder, salt, cumin powder and lemon juice.

The last step is to heat the oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken and fry to perfection. Once done, remove the pieces and sprinkle with chaat masala followed by chopped cilantro leaves. Serve with chutney, onion rings and lemon wedges.
